Name:
Clayton (Clay) Danvers Age:
21 Gender:
Male Species:
Pack Member Appearance:
Appearances aren't everything, and not something Clay takes great pains to keep track of. It's just how he ended up. Flawless, bronzed toned skin covers flesh, bone, and muscle. It seems, no matter how many fights Clay gets into, the scars just don't stay, not even the ones from his childhood. Golden blond hair seems to be unruly in the morning, but after short work, or if any to begin with, Clayton has his hair under control and most likely in the style that requires the least amount of work. Baby doll blue orbs seem to get him a lot of unwanted attention, though dark shades work perfectly to cover them up. Tone and slim, Clay didn't really have to work to have the body that he has, it just simply came with the self-appointed role of bodyguard to Jeremy, and simply being one of the best fighters in the Pack. Though, one looking at Clay would think him puny and unable to live up to his title, all change their impression shortly after meeting this young man. Personality:
The best way to describe Clayton Danvers would be all the drop dead gorgeous looks and genius intelligence but with all the charm of a pit viper. He is a temperamental young man, who has appointed himself protector/bodyguard of his adoptive father, Jeremy Danvers. Helplessly and hopelessly in love with Elena Michaels, he is extremely protective of her, but is willing to let her have her space, at times.
Dominating and aggressive, Clay has earned a rep of a torturer of the Mutts that step out of line, simply to make an example out of them. Of course, it is all at Jeremy's command. He isn't one who questions his Alpha, but he can't help it if he argues when something comes up that he doesn't like. There is a softer side to this young Bitten werewolf, but it's buried too deeply and only Elena has ever bore witness to it.
Bitten at such a young age, Clayton is more wolf than human. He tends to think like a wolf than a human, which in turns puts him at a disadvantage when it comes to the Bitten Mutts who think more human than wolf. History:
Before the age of eight, Clayton has no memory, and to him, his life began the day he was Bitten. The youngest child to ever be bitten and survived, he was found by Jeremy at the age of ten, after running wild in the bayous of Louisiana. When he was brought to the Pack, and introduced to Nick and Daniel, he attacked Nick, causing the slightly older boy to wet himself, turning Nick into his ever faithful follower, while Daniel turned into his worst enemy.
Between ten years old and twenty-two, Clayton's life hasn't changed much. Living in Jeremy's mansion, going to school as an anthropologist, meeting Elena Michaels through his studies. They hit it off ok, with Clayton actually taking the time of day to get to know a human, and then actually asking her to date him. It was on a visit to Jeremy's home that changed both his and Elena's life forever.
Clayton remembers sneaking into the study, finding Jeremy and Elena there talking, knowing that Jeremy was trying to get rid of the girl that he had developed such strong feelings for. As a wolf, he had snuck over to her, head down, acting the part of an oversized, lovable dog. When she went to pet him, he bite her, one fang barely breaking the skin. And the next thing he knew, Jeremy banished him, sending him away, even though Elena would suffer alone.
He tried everything to return to Elena's side, but Jeremy was serious about his banishment, so after the first failed attempt, which ended with Elena locking him in her cage and her escaping, Clay pulled back and disappeared, leaving Elena to her life and the Pack to theirs. That wasn't to say that he stayed out of completely contact with the Pack.
After Elena escaped and it took Jeremy a month to find her, Clayton was allowed back into the house and the Pack. He still enjoys seeing Elena, though he knows that more than half the time, she isn't to thrilled to see him. It's those rare times when she isn't raving at him that are the highlights of his days.
